Activities

Crafty Friends

Crafty Friends meets every second Wednesday morning from 10.00 a.m -noon in the Hall at Hobart North.

It is a time of wonderful community for participants, who might spend time in knitting, weaving, craft activities, sewing up garments and rugs, or just about anything really!  As well as this, the group (together with others who can’t attend but also get involved), makes a wide variety of garments, rugs, toys -mostly in wool-to be given to others, locally, nationally and overseas.

This group has been able, over many years, to give great support to causes and organisations for which its members have passion to serve, as well as responding to specific needs of which they are made aware.

Anyone is welcome to come along on alternate Wednesdays between early Feb and mid December, and join in the fun!

Friends of Thomas

Friends of Thomas is a home study group that meets monthly.  As the name suggests it is open to wide and broad discussions around faith of which an important component is questioning and doubt.  This isn’t a group that will tell you what to believe, but it will help you figure out what you believe by allowing your questions to assist your growth.   Details available from the church office or the Connecting Community Notices.

Youth Group

Youth Group is every second week on a Sunday afternoon.  The meeting times vary depending on the activity for the day.  Youth Group runs intergenerational and anyone from school grade 5 through to year 12 is welcome.
